Is the "Dr Jack Wheeler"mentioned in the Hawaii Reporter article the same Jack Wheeler who accused Bill Clinton of having Vince Foster murdered and who profited from selling a videotape making that unfounded accusation?
If so, then, no wonder no one in the media is taking the story seriously.
The guy that asked for an EMERGENCY hearing by the Supreme Court and was turned down, a Mr. Leo Donofrio of New Jersey was not only challenging Obama's citizenship, but also that of McCain's ( who was born at a Naval Air Station in the Panama Canal ) and the Social Labor Party candidate, Roger Calero.

The fact is that none of us saw donofrio's case.
We don't know what he said to the supreme court.
Therefore it is absolutely gross speculation to declare that the Obama issue is over and isn't over.
The only clear cut factor to show whether this issue is still questionable or not is to see how the supreme court judges on the rest of the birth certificate cases.
We have youtube videos and the conservative and liberal media. Neither are very reliable when it comes to judging this type of case because one has defensive bias while the other has offensive bias.

I'm not sure why you are unaware of what Donofrio was arguing . . . He claims that Obama had dual nationality at birth ( mother was American and his father Kenyan ) and thus could not possibly be a "natural born citizen."
He also contended that McCain and Social Workers candidate, Roger Calero were not natural-born citizens either.
What is so difficult to understand about this?
Meanwhile, 4 out of the 9 Supreme Court Justices have to agree to review a case. Donofrio's case was rejected because there weren't enough justices agreeable to "hear" his case.

In October of 2008, Hawaiian officials reported that they had personally verified the existence of Barack Obama's ORIGINAL birth certificate.
"Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino says she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama's ORIGINAL birth certificate."
Fukino said that state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest in it.
