Pfizer claims that COMIRNATY (the licensed and approved "vaccine") and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 "vaccine" are similar formulations and can be used interchangeably.

Both are authorized for emergency use under EUA. While they can claim approval with COMIRNATY, they can also enjoy the continued indemnification against liability under EUA.
