Unfortunately, the United States government makes it extremely difficult to renounce citizenship. Perhaps you could help change those laws. For example, even after you leave, they try to collect income taxes for the next 10 years even if you're paying taxes in another country. They also bully and threaten other countries that take in US expatriots.

Let's change the law so that anyone can renounce his/her citizenship with no further obligation so long as they promise to never come back.
