That's not the performance bond increase place I was referring to.

The current margin requirements are adequate and protect the firms/exchanges, although they have the right to change them at any time. The recent moves were not a surprise or unexpected considering the levels we are currently at. If margin requirements are an issue for someone, then that individual probably shouldn't be trading.
