Percent of total wealth owned by the top 1% - by country

Some surprises in there. I mean - India, yes, the average wealth is minuscule but there are SO MANY PEOPLE I would have thought it would not come at #3.

Also, not sure how "Monde" - World - comes in that high. That probably means that in most of the rest of the world that is not included in the graph, the 1% own a bigger slice than in these countries.

It is an interesting observation and just proves the grand scale of theft by governments and central banks. In a country that is considered mostly poor, if you have a very small class of super rich individuals, its only because of theft and corruption. How else could you concentrate all that wealth? Its not like only a few dozen people are smarter than everyone else. You would think in a fair society, wealth would follow a normal distribution with a high middle and tails on both ends, but this clearly isn't so.

That is, not true.

Although partially right, imagine that,
all of the global wealth in the world, is divided, into equal parts per each individual and 12 months down the line, guess where the money will end up.
Mostly, previous hands as before.

You can't buy the skill of being good with money.

I see theft and corruption in the bottom as well. Actually, almost all of the ,,freelancers" of whom i know, people that have small individual bis, are hidding taxes.
A carpenter. An IT specialist. Nails manicure specialist. E-store owner.
And they come with clever ways and explanations, (for themselves mostly), of why it is a right thing to do.
In the end of the day, you want to remain that moral person.

Interesting that Japan is so equitable, comparing to the rest of the "rich" countries and the world, only 18.7% of the total wealth is controlled by the top 1% of the richest.
