Personally, I don't see how this would offer anything. So you can look around. Is that supposed to make it better or something?

Unless it comes with sensations (like Demolition Man) then I don't see the benefit.

I tend to agree, though I can see how in certain applications it would access more of our peripheral vision than an ordinary monitor does, so it could be good for gaming and certain training.

Talking specifically about porn, here. That stuff (that you mentioned) clearly has benefit.

Ahh, you're quite right, then. I suspect the climax of this tech is programmatic interactivity with older tech, such as the Pocket Pussy™. They're probably coming to that. : )

I tried one of these new virtual reality sets out (although not with porn) i was actually really surprised at how much it makes you feel like your actually in the room/area, this one was a cartoon landscape, and i was amazed at how i actually felt like i was there after having it on for a bit, and looking around. There is something about being able to look around that really tricks your mind into believing its real.
