I think it depends on who blocks who first. I am blocked by some people,but I don't see that, so if I try to block them I get the message that the person is already blocked.
Destriero is using/abusing that as an expert. So there is some way to do it.

seems like the trick is to block every single person immediately.
then the block list will be a few thousand pages long.
