Pentagon says most americans are too fat stupid to enlist in the military

Is this caused by unhealthy lifestyles?

If you watch the US versus EU, the US is on the top of the list with a 36.20% obese people while the average over all EU is 23.21%. The US has 55% more obese people. Thanks to fa(s)t food. Mc Donalds, Domino's, Pizza Hut, Coca Cola...
If Trump wants to bring back manufacturing from China to the US he should first start a program to decrease obesity. An obese worker has a much lower productivity.

Probably has a lot to do with No Child Left Behind. As it turns out not giving money to public schools who perform poorly makes them perform more poorly. Moreover, forcing kids to learn how to game a test (so the school gets money) does not teach actual problem solving skills.

When you pair this with young children having distracting devices near them at all times it's obvious what the result is. It's hard to learn anything when your school teaches to a test and you're distracted every 10 minutes by the new shiny thing blinking on your smart phone.

Military has plenty of soldiers there and still more enlisting...most Americans shouldn't serve in the military anyway so what is the big deal.

If the fat pig in cheif can skip out of service then so can the rest of us.
