Penson moving futures May 31

Received an email from Penson, and they are transferring futures accounts to Knight Capital Thursday night, May 31, effective the next day June 1. Things seem to be moving quite fast.
 
I hope they move the equities too I am tired of getting the trade conformation email with nothing in it and I have to go on the website to see what I did, at least on the futures I get a detailed list.
 
I don't understand this concept of breaking up the company piecemeal. Perhaps more money and value can be achieved this way.

they're doing it piecemeal b/c no one wants the whole thing.
