Penson GHCO

Anyone have any recent experience clearing at Penson GHCO? They offered me a good deal (better than anyone else) but there seem to be some complaints around here:

What is the set-up with CQG? A certain number of round-trips, and the data is free. How does it compare to regular CQG.

No I pay for everything with CQG on my own, but most firms will let me route orders through it for free. I like the integrated client but it depends on what you're looking for. I think they have a free two week trial if you're interested.

Are you clearing with Penson GHCO?

Yes, but i developed a custom app through PATS API.

You can't know him very well -he doesn't work there anymore unless I'm mistaken.

True, I don't know him very well - but I did see him at the FIA show in Chicago late last year, he was still with GHCO at that time - looks like you're right - just called his # and got voicemail from a Michael Callaghan...

Will CQG let me route orders through multiple FCMs? I have a huge institutional client at GHCO and 1 and Dorman - Neither will do give ups or move - pita so I need to route orders simultaneously to both FCMs - tx
