Alright, as for any rioting over a 2-year push-back in France's retirement shenanigans, I believe there was the exact same thing around 10 years ago... So this is nothing new.

I guess it didn't get much attention back then, because the spotlight went to Greece which did a silly stupid little thing... then came begging for someone else to bail them out in the Euro... because it wasn't their fault politicians made such insane handouts. Spending 800% of GDP for liberal programs into perpetuity. What could possibly go wrong there?

Retirement age ought to be flexible with today’s medical technology, as long as the pension can be dipped at early age. Whole Foods cashiers are mostly silver hair and stock boys are teenagers.

The standard age to start the pension is 65. However, you can start receiving it as early as age 60 or as late as age 70.
