....the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. This was not a new idea it was based on English common law. The right to self defense and resistance to govt oppression and tyranny was seen as a natural right. Its why america was founded.

Nothing new... of course a person looking at original intent would not find the first clause restrictive.

You have the Courts Majority Opinion exactly right now. As I read it anyway.

Seems the Leftist zealots are all hopped-up with the notion of "winning"... as though they personally will be part of the top tip of the ice berg. Got news for them... they won't. SOME of the Leftists will become the "controlling elite", but the vast majority will be disappointed and "relegated to the salt mines" just like the rest of us.

Huh? What I have proposed, once, as a point of departure, is possibly doing something about semiautomatics. But that was before Lucrum convinced me that even eliminating semiautomatics was impractical, and probably wrong too! But even if government goons came and took all your semi-automatics and your sidewinders and your bazookas I still want you, and specifically you, Jem, to have at least 100 other guns. I have never proposed a blanket taking away of the ALL peoples guns.
