Dems need to watch their arse with Bolton. He is unpredictable and could hurt them. As I have said before, Bolton hates Schiff and Nadler and that crew at a level that outweighs his pissoffedness toward Trump and his departure. Bolton's wants to continue to cycle around DC as a Fox News contributor, a conservator think tanker, etc. All that ends the day he becomes known as the guy who helped hurt Trump at the impeachment.
I am mostly neutral on the witness thing now. It is six of one and a half a dozen of another in my mind. I don't have any heartburn on it either way so I dont have any reaction to all the scary statements floating around on either side of the issue. Maybe bring in that stripper baby mamma of Hunter's for a little half-time entertainment. A little bit of Nadler and Schiff goes a long way.
Bolton testimony might be covered by executive privilege meaning that the WH counsel would issue a letter to Bolton restricting his testimony to whatever they outline, something like that.
Oh, it definitely is. If executive privilege doesn't cover conversations with a president's national security adviser then it covers no one. And, at a minimum, the Presiding Justice, and the majority of senators would acknowledge the right of either side to get a court ruling on that. But that works against the dem's goal of having the impeachment over by the end of October...which then became by the end of December.......which then became before the primaries........... .......... ....
Having said that, some dems like to point out that a couple Trump appointees have already testified regardless of the law and that Bolton might do that. To which, I say, fine. I am not convinced that he wants all his fox news and think tank commentator gigs around DC to come to a screeching halt by becoming the man who trashed Trump from the inside. So dems need to watch their arses. Bolton despises the dems despite his issues with Trump. We are not talking Romney or Jeff Flake or something like that here.
Again, no heartburn for me on the witness thing either way by anyone saying scary things. Some blood on the floor does not bother me, and was a foregone conclusion when an outsider busted his way into DC. Not the last impeachment scam to come either.

Yeah, he had to release the partial transcript, he could only delay that. He just thought he could spin it for the poorly educated. And he can.

No, go tell Wilson about how it was innocuous. Trump just keeps repeating that to you and being a weak minded (you can be stubborn and weak) man, you fall for it. Notice Trump's recent fixation with hell lately? LBJ is maybe looking up now too he says. He is probably right there but the whole idea of damnation seems to be troubling his conscience. What Trump is guilty of, he accuses others.
