Put yourself in Bloomberg's shoes for a minute...

He sees Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden and knows, correctly, that they cannot defeat Donald Trump. I think he is serious and I disagree that the Hedge Funds will not support him. It isn't clear, at least to me, how far left he is. If he is anything like a moderate he is going to be an actual contender unless of course he picks Stacey Abrams or someone similar for VP.

The second he announced he was the front runner whether the media knows it or not.

In the unlikely circumstance where he chooses someone like Tulsi for his ticket he would have an actual chance.
