The real backstory is that Pelosi desparately tried to stop the impeachment process knowing that once it started it would be a disaster and mess up their entire campaign timing and then totally obliterate any focus on their campaign issues. That failed. Then she lost control of the House to AOC and Jerry Nadler and reluctantly agreed to impeachment provided that it moved fast and would be over by the end of October. That failed. And now we are looking at mid-January at best for the Senate trial, with each new game of the day adding more time to that projection. So now we are going to have the Senate trial and the dem primaries right in the same time frame. The very nightmare she tried to avoid.
So when motor-mouth there talks about Pelosi thundering forward as though she is Field Marshall Erwin Rommel it is because she is desperately, desperately trying to get this thing over with. But that game has been lost already. We are out into January at best and if the Tards wanted to talk about Ukraine and Hunter Biden out until February or so, then good job, you got it.
