China and Japan built their economies on tariffs and currency debauchement . Thats the definition of mercantile trade policy. So your dead wrong on that one.
IP Theft. China steals 300-500 Billion USD a year in IP Theft. Doesn't include forced tech transfer. They literally hack blueprints, give to a favored domestic manufacturer, then put tariffs on the original US manufacturer so theyre shut out of the Chinese market. Apparently, Canadian Telco equipment maker NORTEL was bankrupted by China's nascent ZTE for doing the same shit. So between IP Theft and forced Tech transfer, America could conceivably close the entire trade deficit with China in a few years assuming the enforcement mechanism works.
We're headed for WW3 with China. Or they will take us over under a weak new President. Thats the end game here.
We're all talking shit here but u realize we're all in the same boat together here right? Our families. Ur family. My family. Who do u support in the next election? Warren? Sanders? Both are talking bringing jobs back from Asia. Some more then others. This is the fight of our day. Not climate change. What a joke. China and India and Africa dont even participate as if a 1 degree difference will make any difference on anything.
I didn't say China and other countries didn't have unfair trade policies, I am asking what policies did Trump forced them to change till now? All I see is more taxpayer bailouts instead.
