The White House is planning to send Speaker Nancy Pelosi a letter as soon as Friday arguing that President Trump and his team can ignore lawmakers' demands until she holds a full House vote formally approving an impeachment inquiry, 2 sources familiar with the letter tell Axios.

It sounds like Trump is going to force Pelosi's hand on a vote prior to complying with the inquiry.

It is illegal to have a formal impeachment inquiry without a vote by the full house. This is a well known fact

Bullshit, what they want is for Democrats to stop digging and making the mountain of evidence irrefutable when the Senate vote comes along. That way, Moscow Mitch can say "the evidence was insufficient, the Democrats didn't do their job". These obstructionists should be locked up.

The Dems should drag this out and impeach in the lame duck session.
