I suspect there is no shortage of corrupt Republican politicians as well. The more heat Trump puts on corrupt Democrats, the more corrupt Republicans sweat. With Barr, originally a Bush appointee as prosecutor, the outlook for reforms does not appear high. I so hope I’m wrong about Barr, but unless we start seeing indictments being handed down, the swamp is safe.
