The only real effect of all this silliness will be to make Biden look bad, and put him under the spotlight - not a good place to be given that he seems to be losing it.
If you want to see something really funny, just wait til it becomes clear Warren has the nomination in the bag. The media may be mostly staffed by left-wing radical activists but it's still owned by billionaire plutocrats, who won't fancy a 2% wealth tax. It'll be like when they abandoned the whole Black Lives Matter saga on the first whiff of criticism of Israel - only even more obvious and dramatic.
Might be the first election of my lifetime where I'll be happy either way. Warren doesn't seem to actually care too much about third-world immigrants, whining minorities, or transsexuals - so she'll spend most of her time sticking it to oligarchs and parasitic corporations, cleaning up the environment, and reforming the f'ed up health-care system. Certainly a platform I can get behind.
Agree with most of that.
Warren can sell ideas but she needs to do better as democrats do across the board. I wish she had a bit more Al Franken when dealing with Trump, put him in his place on a dime in debates but she can learn.
The intelligent people might greatly appreciate the high road she has taken a few times but they are in the minority at say 8-11%.
Amusingly and worryingly 65% of Americans believe they are above average intelligence in this 2018 study. https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0200103
