Attack Trump for a news cycle and take down Biden to help support anyone else in the race, not care if Trump wins again because Pelosi will still be in charge of the House based on her record of battling Trump. Work to getting more seats in the Senate and give Dems 4 more years to wash out the lefty shit that accumulated and have a new Dem party to leave behind when she retires in 2024.

Maybe. But the traditional pelosi view or what drove it are factors that are still at play.
Pelosi is smart enough to know that - while all the dems are crowing about mid-term victories- that those victories occurred where dems ran as moderates. (not talking about internal victories such as a progressive dem over a moderate dem). And Pelosi knows that her power is derived from having a dem majority congress. So yeh, she sees that this will take Biden down and will prop Warren up who is a stronger candidate. Except taking things further to the left puts the house majority at risk- not only in the 30 districts represented by dems that trump won but in others.
No punchline. Just sayin, that still remains for her to work out. A stronger but leftier Warren is not necessarily to her benefit. Ideally she would have a strong Biden who was not an idiot and about to be up to his arse in scandal.

It is worrying how many vocal people are in the utterly amoral, winning is all that matters and breaking the other guy's balls with least effort is the thing. I have had a few encounters with young suppliers who very clearly have decided that "Trumping it" is the way to go. Most will crash and burn as they don't have the experience or the large lawyer budget.
But across the world, millions, tens of millions Trump has given a road map for his success via lies.7
To date it is true the Dems have fallen into traps and been just too late. The race is on to grab the Ukrainian officials and get the to corroborate the coercion in congress if possible at all.
