Pelosi Impeachment Inquiry

This is the discussion that needs to be had. People assume Trumps approval will go up with impeachment because that’s what happened to Clinton but the issue with Clinton was about lying about getting a blowjob. Thats is not what the American people believe impeachment is for.

That’s completely different than what Trump is facing. Trump is facing exactly what impeachment is for, corruption and misuse of power. Those charges are going to resonate and the American people will take a serious look at them.

TLDR; trump faces a very different set of circumstances than Clinton in 1998.

Clinton's approval went up because the economy was good.

They did not care about the blowjob any more than Americans give a shiite about Trump trying to mess up Joe's crooked game in the Ukraine, as long as the economy is good.

I will revise that a little to say that there was probably more entertainment interest in following the blow job scenario versus the Ukraine.

Trump was maintaining highly classified material within the control of the government but protecting it from an environment that was riddled by leakers and hackers and swampsters.
Then he was able to and did actually produce it when requested because it was still within government safekeeping.

In contrast, Hillary had a private offline storage- not known to and hidden from government oversight and retrieval. And then when required by law to produce some of it, she took deliberate steps to destroy it.

No comparison.

The call was not really that highly classified as 20 people were on the call. On the US side alone. He moved it because it caused intakes of breath.

Also Hillary being surrounded by vipers had to protect America bla bla. Trump in plain text did the crime. His lifetime of mafia boss behaviour has caught up to anyone objective.

If you look at how the world outside is reading this. They are not Dems and Gops, they just read the circumstances and the transcript and say basically.. he is screwed.

I'm fairly certain at this point that there was not a "whistleblower". I believe I'll be proven correct in the fullness of time. I believe there was a disgruntled anti-Trump CIA operative who was more than happy to come forth with the first thing they could find that The Idiot Dem leadership felt that they could twist into something. I believe the person worked with Democrats to put together the complaint and then hide under whistleblower protection. ---As you may note----Pelosi went for the impeachment inquiry before the transcript or complaint was even out. It's a right dead certainty that Democrats had already read the complaint because they had helped author it. They already had their game plan in motion. --In some ways, this may be even worse than the failed earlier coup attempt.

She was under a lawfully-issued Congressional order to preserve her emails and upon receiving that lawful order, she took steps within a matter of hours/few days to deliberately and planfully bleach-bit them. In addition, IG reports- with more to come- confirm that her emails were accessed by others, not friendly to the United States.

This is apparently what you call "protecting America."

We all saw that whistle blower had a ghostwriter thing by Levine this morning on the front page of Fox News. Bit late to claim credit to that idea.

You did when you made that justification for Trump's actions as a good man doing what he has to. Trump uses his private phone and God knows what for his secret emails and people just accepted that. No visitor logs.. pure mafia.

President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani implicated Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in the Ukraine scandal on Thursday night, telling Fox News host Laura Ingraham he acted at the direction of at least one State Department official and reading text messages on air to that effect.

"The whistleblower falsely alleges that I was operating on my own. Well, I wasn't operating on my own,” Giuliani told Ingraham. “I went to meet [Ukraine President Volodymyr] Zelensky’s aid at the request of the State Department.”

Giuliani then read text messages live on air that he claimed were from the Trump administration's special envoy for Ukraine, Ambassador Kurt Volker.

Well we are going to find out. My observation is people are telling themselves this is going to go the way it did with Clinton and that is some faulty thinking. Economy or not. Welcoming impeachment investigations with the charges and evidence against Trump is crazy.

The democrats are not the republicans and Pelosi is much smarter than she gets credit for. As I mentioned before she came out on top every time they have directly clashed. And make no mistake, just as the thread reads this Pelosi’s impeachment.
