Explain to me how you would have handled that different. These guys were under-fire. They saved 11 kids. The mission was to capture this fuck. He runs down a tunnel with his 3 (you pointed out 'brown' for no apparent fucking reason) children. Now, what are we supposed to do? Negotiate? In what f'ing world is this guy blowing himself up with his own children collateral damage on the part of our troops?

I haven't programmed in cobol for 20 years. Funny thing is the programs we written are still running today at financial institutions and governments. For the right price, we will re-engineer the system to java, c++ and or python. Been there done that. The business systems architects today have no idea how to integrate VLDB. There are many similarities between cloud and mainframe. What's old is new again. Hey little girl, let's stay on topic.

It seems caution is in order until we find out what really happened. All we have at this point is Trump's embellished account, some of which is not believable, and all of which, because of Trump's addiction to lying, is questionable. I'm sure we will eventually get more accurate details from a reliable source. Remember Trump is the guy who maintains Obama was born in Kenya and his own father (Trump's) was born in a beautiful little village in Germany.

Lol , Trump spent about 50 colorful minutes reporting the raid and even said Baghdadi was 'whimpering and scream and crying' and when a reporter took him up and asked ''Did you really hear Baghdadi whimpering and screaming and crying over the monitor?'' Trump's reply was ''I don't want to talk about it.''

I don't think anyone has done any Cobol in about 20 years now, since Y2K. I did some banking migration for AMDAHL out of college, my uncle's company had an IBM 9375 mini so I managed that for them from about 15 but more interesting work called me away from code.
