Peak to peak max time

Hello guys,

A little question for pro traders:

What the longest peak to peak recovering time you had to suffer during your career?

I just had a really bad week wiping out most of my profits from March and I realized I never really had more than a month or so to wait for new highs in my account during my career...

It's not to brag. I am lucky. I never had huge one day semi blow up that required 6 months to make it back for example. I wonder if I am strong enough...

I thought it would have been an interesting topic... I think if you trade for a living for 50 years, one day or another you will be on the bad side of a black swan, the kind that can wipe out one year of profits... I just wanted to here motivating stories...I am sure the old seasoned traders here have some...
