PDT rules and Swing trading

In the event that I am obliged to open a MARGIN account on IBKR in order to bypass the T + 2 CASH, the opening and closing of my trades last averagely about 1.5 days (swing maybe) knowing that the number of my trades is greater than 3, in this case, is the PDT applicable on my trades or not?
you should know that the amount invested is less than 20K.
Thanks.

PDT only applies under 25,000

Over 25,000 you can trade as much as you want in a margin account
the amount invested is less than 20K, I close the positions only in the next day. that's ok for me or no?

Yeah

You want margin here

If you use cash you have to wait 2 days before using the unsettled cash

Margin you can instantly buy again

Since you’re not day trading (closing and opening in the same day) you won’t be affected by the PDT rule

If you hold overnight you pay the cost to borrow but it is not a day trade. PDT applies to day trades.

If you open and close your position on the same day and make it 4 days in a row(Or make 4 daytrades in one day), PDT applies. If you open a position on monday and close it on tuesday no issues.
