Pay our Military before the UN

Watching the bull shit propaganda nightly news, tonight's flavor NBC and behold a story with servicemen/women shown in the background, informing them that they might not be paid if we default.

Here's a suggestion........ before any check is held for our Military personnel, Social Security and such , we stop funding the IMF, United Nations and any other country for pet projects.

A practical and common sense suggestion of course.
But we don't have practical leaders and representatives with any common sense. Which is why ALL incumbents regardless of party need to go in 2012.
 
allow the military in Afghanistan to bring a few tons of poppy seeds (in lieu of salaries) back to US when they are discharged.

I agree with you, but you have to realize that in the other country category, there is really only one country that takes the most and real cash (the other are expert assistant, training and the like). You know which country that is. I guess one can say the cash that Isreal goes to Israel.

Not only should we completely cut-off the UN from US funding we should also evict them from NYC and build a park-space surrounded by condos with ground floor retail, bodegas etc. Dag Hammerskold plaza is a nice chunk of property.
