Paul Tudor Jones to Open Palm Beach Office

No state income tax among multiple other reasons. South Florida is a great place to lve and work. I wish i moved here 20 years ago!

I did. Actually 24 years ago.

ET should make a (name) change too - to PTJ news all the time.

Hi,

Yes, u must have brought the rain! Lol!! its storming on palm beach island right now. I was in Boynton this morning, raining there also. This is the first substantial rain in weeks.

How long will you be here? Maybe we can link up for lunch or coffee next week?

Are u the same WW from VN's shop?

Ha, landed with a few clouds and no rain!

Yes, never worked for VN, but have contributed to the list and attended some of his parties.

I'll be around, staying on the island until next Saturday.

Shoot me an email if you have my gmail from the list. Otherwise just DM me or find me on bloomberg. I'm in town until Saturday.

Hey Mav,

Great hearing from you. Our group is rapidly growing and we are working on a few really unique events for next season. Hopefully, you can drop by to one or more.

Unfortunately, i really can't talk about our members or folks who attend the events.

Surf, where do you live in West Palm Beach?

[sunshine state partial QUOTE="clacy, post: 4143244, member: 58732"]But I thought PTJ was lecturing us on wealth distribution? So you're telling me he moved to Florida to avoid taxes after that lecture?

.[/QUOTE]
I agree with most of what you wrote, clacy;
but i think PTJ is interested in wealth accumulation + distribution+ TA.......

Therfore[not a prediction] , paying low taxes in low tax states like FLA, TX ,TN, TX,TN,FLA,Silver State.... = NO problem.
Also did you notice he was wearing red, white blue outfit-notice that pattern?? I figure his wife suggested that??

Also , having been to FLA+ enjoyed it;
NO such thing as ''avoid taxes'', because of gas taxes,sales tax..... ammo taxes, gun taxes.Thanks

Avoid HIGH income state tax from NY. Which also has higher sales tax, gas tax, ciggy tax etc etc and another biggie high estate tax.

Not to mention NYC itself has a income tax.

The comparison is not even close.

"Do as I say, not as I do".

low property tax in Fla. too, and if I recall.. pretty good protection for your assets in Fla. - if you declare bankruptcy as well - when I was a kid people would always say.. they cant take your house
