Paul Singer: scams

Elliott Management’s Paul Singer: “When the history is written, cryptocurrencies will likely be described as one of the most brilliant scams in history,”

This is music for my ears. So much hate on bitcoin and crypto, so much fear of fake Tethers... Yet the best trader in the world, bought.

Bull run is inevitable.

Orbit good luck, hope I would be proven wrong. Too many small investors put their hard earned money into Cryptos. Many do not even know about existence of “stable” aka con coins.

Did you actually read that article or just got hyped by the title ?

They're into BTC futures, they aren't ,,all time long'' or something on the actual BTC.

Now when the game kicked off from $5000, it's a simple pump and dump again.

It's not a hate, it's how the game works.

Anyone beyond this point, who actually thinks that PTD owns Bitcoin itself and believes in it's future, - must be average/below average IQ.
His fund owns futures. Those are two different things, last time i checked.
(some noobs will be like , ,,look he has'' - shows a balance of ten bitcoins, from a billionaire.)

whats the diff between owning futures and the thing?

security is one thing. No need to worry about “exchange” announcing shit being “stolen”.

@NewTraderAdventure Not that smart after all, aren't you. Welcome to perma ignore club.

He also failed to see, that it's placed from the perspective, of how the game is rigged.

At the coffee table :

,, - Hey T, were launching this new product, i know that you're against it, but noneless, your good word would help to pump it up and you could make few bills real quick''

The difference between "owning a future (contract)" and owning the thing, is that the future is a promise to buy at a certain price at a future date. And if you do not like the price by the time the contract expires, (that future date), then tough titties, because you gotta' fulfill the contract. That is called the settlement.

Owning the thing means you own it at that price the day you buy the thing, like, forever? Oh, and by the way, the future is leveraged, while the thing is not. That can muck up the works on owning the "thing".

Kim, you are a dumbass. Your future wallet can not be hacked, lost or its password forgotten for one thing, because there is no such a thing.

Second, you can trade options on futures thus either hedge your position or make money while the crypto doesn't move.

Third, the government can't outlaw your future contract out of the blue. Fourth, your broker less likely to exit scam on you. etc.etc.etc.
