Oh, I know exactly how these things work. Fabricate a phony charge to open the door and then get all worked up over something completely different than the original charge. Bottom line, No Trump/Russia collusion. Nice distraction though from the painfully obvious collusion and tampering committed by Clinton, Obama administration, FBI and Justice department. You know, the actual threat to the electoral process.

Gates was still going to the White House as late as June, and both Manafort and Gates advised Trump on Cabinet picks. They were heavily involved with Trump both before and after the election.

Yup. Let's not forget that the witchhunt is about Trump. Mannafort and Flynn have their own separate issues. Good luck getting their issues to arrive at Trumps door. Not seeing it so far.
Lefties can fantasize about this being an operation to squeeze mannafort and then get him to flip and become state's witness on Trump. Heh, good luck wit dat. First of all, there is no Russian collusion by trump so mannafort has nothing to add to help the government, and second, you really think mannafort is going to cut the balls off the one guy who is crazy enough to pardon him? Might want to work on that theory a little.
I do believe that - as Mueller sees that he is not going to be able to get an obstruction of justice charge on trump- that he will go back as many decades and to as many places in the world to find tax issues with Trump. But everyone sees that for what it is and it only adds fuel to fire that says that everything trump is getting examined- but nothing killary is being examined. And I am all about going after the dems. If trump or his underlings get a couple limbs blown off to keep the momentum going in that direction, then it is necessary collateral damage.
Meannwhile, someone in the dnc/dem village paid a "consultant" twelve million dollars which included payments to a Russian operative. BUT NO ONE IN THE DNC OR ELSEWHERE SAYS THEY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT. As I said yesterday. Mueller owns the media and the clown show for the first half of this week. Expect things to start migrating past mannafort mighty quick, especially since there is no surprise there.
