He's facing the rest of his life in prison and losing the millions he's worked for for the shady shit he did years ago.That is likely to make him a cooperating witness in the Russian investigation.

Podesta's group was working for Hillary and the dnc......to hire people to do espionage to bring down a political opponent.......the fbi had agreed to sponsor it.....even though it collapsed and was outed before the fbi sponsored phase began......it included the hiring of a current or former kgb agent.........

Having read the above, note THAT PODESTA WAS ALSO WORKING FOR AND UNDER CONTRACT WITH MANNAFORT and is the brother of Hillary's campaign manager.

Be careful what you wish for when you start wishing for someone to be a cooperating witness.
