limbo, although this is a stomach churning discussion, this sort of thing is what Isreal does.
It goes to the suicide bomber's home village and asks everyone to get out of homes, parks, offices, factories, etc. and with a couple of dozen bulldozers they level the whole area to rubble.
The next suicide bomber will think twice. Sure they might think "I'll be dancing with Gabriel" but when they see the consequences on their families and loved ones, they sure think about it reeeeaaal hard.
Isreal has used these methods to keep from being completely anhialated. It isn't pretty and I don't like it more than anyone else. But sometimes it takes great strength of character to stand in front of tyranny and protect innocent lives.
Right now the Taliban are soiling their pants along with General Musharaf of Pakistan. The NATO forces will have to show these people that the WORLD will rain down consequences on not only those that are directly involved but those that have ANYTHING to do with them.
This in my view is the only way to keep them at bay.
On another note, I keep seeing American-Arab leaders come on TV and say how they are innocent and that every Muslim is not to blame for this.
But I ask you, what pressure have they put on these madmen that share their beliefs? what moral suasion or financial suasion have they taken against Bin-Laden or people like him?
Words are totally meaningless. Actions such as the funneling of money to terrorist groups speaks much louder.
When I see each and every Muslim in the world DOING SOMETHING to stop madmen like Bin-Laden, then they are ok in my book.
