imo, not only should these OBVIOUS kinds of patents not be allowed at all, but anyone trying to extort $ should be fined heavily and then flogged.
I looked briefly at the first patent and its absurd that such generic and obvious design can be patented at all. Paul allen must have lost too much money chasing his fantasies.
