By now, it should be obvious that the pre-game ritualistic loyalty test is exactly that: a pre-game ritualistic loyalty test, well beyond the game at hand.

If this is the kind of test we expect from our NFL players, what kind of test should we expect from prospective muslim immigrants?

If you say we should not have any such test for a muslim immigrant, then i'm going to throw a yellow flag and signal hypocrisy.

Why? The NFL players haven't disrespected the military. Just because the military has been brainwashed into making some irrational connection between kneeling NFL players and what their Drill Sergeant told them is no reason for the rest of us to shift our brains into neutral like some 19-year-old charging a hill with an M-16.

One of the largest military populations in the U.S. -- if you want to hear why kneeling for the national anthem is considered to be extremely disrespectful to military members then you should drop down and hear it directly from military members.
