What about environmental protection, as an example. I'll set up a chemical company, I'll save a huge amount by not using any filters and just releasing the leftover sludge into the lakes and groundwater. It won't affect me because I will live in another region or a different country.

It is a kind of fraud if you believe that a co. is making an implicit promise not harm the environment.

That's what 3M is actually doing in Belgium at this moment. Government wants to send them the bill of 63 millions euro to clean up their mess. But the only thing that matters for 3M is$$$$. People's life doesnt' matter for them. Real contamination levels are till 100 times higher than the safety limits.
