Party Time! 2 dead, 22 injured in Houston

Fortunately no white shooters - which would have made this a horrible situation - so it's not even tragic, just another day in the `hood:

HOUSTON (AP) — Two people were killed and at least 22 others were injured late Saturday night when gunfire rang out at a large house party in a Houston suburb, sending partygoers fleeing in panic, authorities said.

More than 100 people, mostly young adults, had gathered at a home in Houston suburb of Cypress, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. The gunfire happened between 11:30 p.m. and midnight, the sheriff's office said.

A man and woman died — one at the scene and another at a hospital — and those hurt had injuries ranging from minor to critical, the sheriff's office said. None of the victims were identified by name.

it really is sad that leftists policies force these communities to endure random acts of violence.

You can take the person out of Africa but you can't take the Africa out of the person.

Unreal.

"Out of no apparent provocation, someone discharged a firearm in apparent celebration of the music," Sheriff Adrian Garcia told reporters in front of the two-story house on Sunday.

Following that single gunshot, another party-goer who was standing 10 to 15 feet away and had "unwisely decided he needed to bring a firearm to a birthday party, recklessly responded" and started shooting indiscriminately into the crowd, he said.

But America has no gun problem.

Be the change you want to see in the world. Buy a gun and throw it away. One less gun on the street, booyah.

That depends. Did you check to see if the teen committed the murder with a legally registered weapon?

I did not read it, but I'm betting he did not. And if he did not, then no gun law you put in place would have stopped this crime from happening.

Keep in mind that a good portion of this violent crowd in Houston are the people who moved there after Katrina. The hurricane evacuation led to a huge crime uptick in Houston and left local officials trying to deal with a non-working mass of takers who did not want to return to New Orleans.
