I have a 600K account, with 500k margin. I only want to transfer some stocks. I only see to list stocks on the transfer form, but how do I transfer the debt?
Instruments handled by the system include equities, corporate and municipal bonds, unit investment trusts, mutual funds, options, cash and other investment products.
You should make the information more exact by contacting NSCC or your broker. But it seems a debt isn't on the list of instruments handled by the system. Otherwise the receiving firm had to credit the delivering firm. Just my 2 cents.
