Yep. The lefty media is/are in a bind here. They are hoping that the Americans will launch some tear gas at border invaders and another woman will run over to it with her children to have her picture taken and become an instant martyr. If only they can get another photo like that it will allow them to divert from this story for another week, hoping that it will blow over.

There are reports that Mexican immigration authorities are now in full charge of the migrants in the new stadium. This is intended to be temporary and they expect to deport those migrants back to Honduras! I guess the Mexican government is finally realizing that if the US shuts its borders down, Mexican trade to the US stops and it results in losses to Mexico in the billions!
Thank you President Trump for being firm and refusing to bow down to liberal Democrats pressure to let the migrants in!

Yup. And Trump needs to up his game too by making it clear that invaders are and expense, a threat, and a political drain for the people when invaders are in motion for weeks and everyone has to figure out the implications and make political hay out of it. So, whenever Mexico allows or fails to actively resist migrant swarming to cross the border from Guetamala- ie. over the bridge there, etc- we should immediately close off our border with Mexico. Then we will see how much fun it is for them to watch it drag on for weeks with the media dramatizing every mile. Don't like it? Then show some news videos of the latest caravan either being turned back or arrested.

Having said that, I dont mind rewarding them in various ways for being helpful, should they so choose. There have been examples of Mexico being helpful but they are unreliable. Their new lefty president was sworn in yesterday and -even though none of them will say it openly- all those lefties know that their revolutions dont work without gringo dollars. Trump will make it clear to President Lefty that he expects Mexico to help with the border situation and President Lefty is hopefully smart enough to say "I can do that but it will cost ya."

And I think that could be a beautiful thing. Those kind of deals are not self-enforcing though. You have to have a president like Trump who will actually shut off the agreed-upon dollars if the illegals show up with Mexico looking the other way. Otherwise, you have an Obama type arrangement where the other country gets the big bucks and then just goes off and does whatever they want with no consequences. Unfortunately once the dems cycle back into the white house then half of venezuela will be here and borders will continue to be erased so that thought leaves me flaccid.

Let us not forget that it has been only a couple weeks since Macron was getting his jollies by publicy trashing Trump when he visited- in an attempt to detract from his own problems at home.

That is just the appetizer. Wait for the main course and it is a twelve course dinner! After all, they have to pay for the Islamic refugees they are letting into Europe and give them monies, halal food, shelter, healthcare, education, scholarships, subsidies for practically everything. We are starting that in the US too! Look at the US homeless who are US citizens mind you. Democrats talk about but, never help US citizens but, the red carpet is laid out for illegals (foreigners) who get food stamps, monies, cell phones, healthcare, scholarships, section 8, etc.
Nothing for actual US citizens yet, you have a substantial portion of US citizens continuing to vote for Democrats? You cannot fix stupid!

The worst part of increasing fuel costs it tends to have a huge effect on food, consumer goods, services too! Everything will be passed on to consumers raising the prices of practically everything! Of course, the French people signed up for it because they knew coming in that Macron was an extreme liberal Socialist! Now, they realize that they will be ones paying for it and they don't like it one bit. Macron cannot back down because someone has to pay for it. Rich liberals will never impose higher taxes on themselves. Why should they when they are in power?
 
Interesting the way the protest cycles tend to run when the protesters are workers versus professional progressives.

You know the protests have fired up on the weekends in France but they tend to settle down when the weekend is ending because- RADICAL AS IT IS- some people have to go back to work.

Whereas when you have a Trump protest or something in Portland Oregon - like what else do the protesters have to do? They aint exactly missing a lot of work if you know what I mean. They might have had a cousin who had a friend whose brother had a job once. Also, if they had a car or truck, you would not be finding any yellow work safety jackets in it. Maybe some dope. No need to for them to have a safety vest. There is little chance that they are going to be injured on a job. Yup, they have taken care of that by avoiding any kind of job.
