Paris! Paris! Paris!

Totally agree. And the argument that the jails are over crowded...who cares. Paris might have to share a cell with someone of lower to middle class status. Maybe that's what the medical condition was about?...maybe she has severe allergic reactions when she's around someone of a lower net worth?.

PH is another excellent role model for young girls and young women. The young'ns over time start acting like PH and her cohorts and men start bitching like ladies about where have all the good women gone.

Whether the sentencing circus is fair or not, I don't care. PH has brought all of this upon herself and kept making it worse with more violations.

PH from the beginning should have known what most people know. Everyone in the real world knows that impaired driving endangers the innocent. Anyone who cares about more than just themselves knows enough not to drive intoxicated and to take a cab, designate a driver, use their chauffeured limo. Get a clue PH.

Sick of celebrities

Look at the bright side of things, a good B.J. has been made stylish again!

Why the anger and insults? I think I have a grasp of the justice system and what probation means. My point is simply that the sentence was harsh, given the fact they let violent criminals and serial drunk drivers walk. I think a day or two would have gotten the judge's point across.

My main objection, however, is not the sentence but the unseemly glee of people like Sean Hannity. I'm the last person who would take up for a celebrity, but I find it offensive to see supposedly serious people high-fiving each other over this young woman's misfortune. She hasn't hurt anyone. Would they be even more gleeful if something bad happened to her in jail? Is that what they want?

according to roy black it was harsh ..according al sharpton it wasnt....the winner is going to be paris..her diary looks like it will fetch 1 millionnnnnnnnnnnnn...for a 23 day stint...$43,478 per day..:D

Once again the so rare abilities of basic comprehension and logic fail to evade you. Someday, someday.

The drunk driving issue has nothing to do with it. She got the same treatment for drunk driving as anyone else, well almost. She got probation and a suspended license (along with a BS fine). Very standard, except that the fine is usually 2 to 3 times than what she got. Period. It's what she did afterwards that more than warranted at least 30 days in jail.

Can I start the argument that she got special treatment because some poor shmucks get the book thrown at them for a first drunk driving offense? Or is that completely nonsensical because we all already know that sentences & punishments already vary for the US population depending on the officer who caught you, the judge, your skin color, the particular county, or even your name?

Put your Paris crush aside and realize that she is still getting off very easy. Realize that the suspended license means sh*t to her & so do the fines. Realize that the time spent in "jail" means no financial uncomfort, no lost job, no missed bills, no oppotunities lost (only gained). Realize that she is not even going to real jail or even close. Have you ever been to county? Do you realize that in NJ, if you get caught driving on a suspended license, they impound your car and there is a chance (depending on the locale & the officer) that your @$$ is going to spend a night or two in county jail? No solitary rooms made especially for celebrities, nah, you get to spend time with Tyrone & his buddies who may have just killed someone.

You're gonna get stuck on some hardcore criminal or serial drunk driver that got off very easy and use it as a baseline. How about learning about Compton street sweeps where they would just grab any black male, make up charges and send them off to prison for 2-5 years. California prison business is not booming because serial drunk drivers are getting off easy.

I don't know what reality you all come from, but if I or my friends were to pull off what she did, 30 days in jail would not be at all surprising. Also, we would expect license suspension for up to 5 years, god knows how many points and fines upon fines. And if we got to spend the 30 days in some special rehab center, we would be ecstatic.

Because they do not like her. Many upon many reasons not to like that excuse for a human being. Does she do a damn good thing for society? Is it somehow a big positive how she flaunts her undeserved status & riches? Is she sending across a good image (well that's debatable from a male perspective, but anyway)?

I'm sorry, but she is a disgusting human being. And she is promoting it. The world would be a better place if she got drunk and fell off a highrise balcony. Well, that is unless you have some kind of secret dreams about her making a porn video with you.

I guess you know her personally to form this opinion of her...or are you forming it as a reaction to someone else's opinion??....like the media

What country do you live in that would have your license suspended
for 5 years? Russia?

You think she is only disgusting because she has money and fame.
You are jealous as hell about her situation aren't you?

And just because YOU think her fine and time in jail means nothing
to her because she can afford the fine doesn't mean squat. Do
you think she should be fined 800K because she can afford it?

And bums on welfare should only be fined $8?

Spending 1 night is the usual where I live for a DUI. She didn't even
get convicted of a DUI.

When celebrities, cops and politicians spend time in jail they are a
bigger target than the usual punk who ends up in jail. That is why
she gets a cell away from the scum who end up in jail. It is a humane
move. Hard to understand huh?

You say that if you did what she did 30 days would not be uncommon.

She got 45 days. Which number is higher?...

And being in rehab will not make you estatic unless you like that kind of thing...
People in rehab are just as nuts as those in jail if not worse.

I can't believe how many poor people hate anyone with money. This whole "I
hate Paris" thing is about her family, her wealth and her celebrity.

Nothing to do with her sentence. It's just an excuse to hate. Or jealousy.

Wishing she would fall off a balcony and die is well... kind of fucked up...

It makes you more of a disgusting human being than her...:(

Maybe he has been brainwashed by Al Sharpton and his sick ilk...

"Whitey is the Devil"... "Whitey get it good"... "Blacky get it bad"...

You classify anyone who bears dislike for Hilton as "poor?" I'm not poor and I don't like anything that she stands for per Hydro's post. I don't dislike Ivanka Trump. Pick up the Clue Phone.

If Paris was a poor black girl no one would even pay one second of
attention to her.

It's mainly the people who don't have money who dislike her. And
black people like Al Sharpton. And ugly people. Jealous people.
Fat people. People that are not blond haired. Bored people.

Crap. She is just a woman. What is the big deal about her anyway?
I know. Her last name is Hilton. The hotel that most people
can not afford to stay in. Whoopee!

And why don't you say yourself why you don't like her instead of
using someone else's post. Are you lazy or what?
