Paper Trading E-mini's

Booya...have you tried Strategy Runner ? It is pretty basic to use...but has woeful price chart you couldnt trade off but a chart none the less. If you download the demo/paper version i can help you configure it......the three most important rules when starting out 1. simulate....when more confident 2. simulate and when very confident 3. simulate

You might consider doing currency demo. I think EUR.USD behaves very much like the minis and you can get free live data and charts.

Quote from Trendytrader:

I've been position trading equities for some time and looking to move into trading the YM and ES during the evenings EST.
As I have a real day job I'm only able to trade real-time during the evenings.

I'm thinking about opening an account with IB and using Button Trader as the trading interface.

Questions:

1: Would IB and ButtonTrader be a good combination for beginning trader in index futures?

2: Do traders find the YM and ES liquid enough during the evening period?

Any feedback or suggestions?
Trade the DAX or the DJ EuroStoxx50 at night..I trade the DAX some nights and I like it a lot. I am also doing some backtesting on the N225 and that looks good too, so you have better choices for the night shift than trading the YM or ES.

For paper traders..MirusFutures.com will let you try a Zen-Fire feed demo with NinjaTrader if you like.
