We might consider a driving halt if we knew that not doing so would eventually result in hundreds of thousands of driving deaths a day.

I don't claim that this is the same thing, but its not the current death rate that is the issue,.

And the virus is just the catalyst that has caused the stupidity of this "market" to reap what it has sown over the last 10 years or so.
