Panera Bread not charging for anything in the store(pay what you want)

Have you been in Panera? 8 bucks for a small soup and half a sandwich. Nobody is thinking they pay too little.
 
It will not work, People will freeload and it will not be self-sustaining.

I say 10 months from now you will not hear about this nonprofit edition of the restaurant.

The trick is, upscale. This will not be coming to ghettos any time soon.
 
Actually this particular Panera is stationed right outside the St Louis County Jail, plenty of freeloaders frequent the area. It's not going to work.

Actually the soup in the sourdough bread "bowl" is quite filling for $4.99.

Yeah, this sounds nice but just won't work. It might work if a restaurant were inside a church, private museum or club, etc. But not with the general freeloading public.

It wouldn't work in a church or anywhere else... go to lunch with a dozen high earning professionals, be the guy that collects all the money for the table, you will come up short every time...
