China lied, China covered it up, and China allowed international travel out of the Wuhan Province for three weeks knowing full well that there was a serious and rapidly spreading Coronavirus outbreak underway.

China continued to lie about the virulent infectious nature and transmission vectors for the virus and China continued to grossly underreport Wuhan infection cases into March of 2020.

If you want to continue to be a Communist Party apologist for that kind of negligence then so be it.

I agree with what you say, but why can't China lie? What duty does China have to be 100% transparent with their reporting? The US isn't any better with much info they release. All info that is released is massaged to fit a certain political narrative.
 
Your point is valid if it works. But it clearly hasn’t worked. Quite the opposite. It’s been a diplomatic disaster for China. Apparently China has taken a huge hit in terms of trust and confidence amongst the World community.

This isn’t my opinion - there is a worldwide backlash of negative sentiment against China.

China’s geographical neighbors, Europe, and the US are more far more skeptical of China and have an increased negative attitude about China.

I know we have traders from all over the world. I am for independence everywhere. I am happy for my UK friends... I hope the Brexit transition is successful.

I am American and I have a bias against China. I am looking forward to a resurgence of "Buy American" and "Made in the USA"

Will Buy American start? I think so. Will it last? I don't know but I am hopeful. Americans often have a short memory so only time will tell. Covid may be a long standing reminder.

And if you really want to hear some nasty rhetoric against China - google what the Italians, Brazilians, and Indians are saying.
 
China got their asses kicked by Vietnam in 1979.
And they were fighting Vietnamese Border Militia Units at that :fistbump: The Vietnamese army regulars were stationed in Cambodia and the mainland :D

Now you think they want to pick a fight with Australia, India, Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, the US, and every other pissed off neighbor in the Indo-Pacific region ? o_O
