Thanks for the video, very interesting.. that s what I kinda had figured out (security issues and 2 tiered city), but it is hard to believe it for us Europeans unless you actually see it because here it hardly exists (unless in some very bad neighbourhoods of big cities of course, which are places far enough from city center you would not as a foreigner even consider living there.. whereas US cities are much more spread out)

What do you mean "always hiring"?

Are there WHOLE neighbouhoods that could be considered safe/good besides Miami beach :
- Boca Raton?
- you said Fort Lauderdale?
- West Palm Beach?

Naples has a very large European presence mostly German and Swiss retirees i.e. cheaper for them to retire in US if, they are middle class or above.

Anything out of Dade County/Miami is fine. When you get into Palm Beach county it gets a little country. But if you are into that, then that is fine. If you are into horses then check out Wellington.

A nice place that is reasonably priced is Hollywood Beach or if you are into boating
Lighthouse Point.
