Palin Profile Reveals Facebook Ghostwriter & Spendthrift Ways

Quote from bugscoe:
I have no idea what the future holds for Sarah Palin. It is indisputable, though, that the left regards her as its worst nightmare -- an articulate, attractive...

1. Articulate???

2. Attractive??????????

I know her brown nosers like to claim she's articulate even though she writes crib notes on her hand before national TV appearances, lied about reading political periodicals and is in favour of forcing raped children to carry pregnancies through to term, but that's par for the course. It's the second one that always kills me. Sarah Palin? Attractive? If you like middle aged, square-jawed, big-assed mothers who occasionally don't shave.

Liberals like to say 'We'll be ecstatic if the Republicans run her because she's unelectable', but I think they're underestimating her appeal among the great unwashed.

Associated Press is reporting that the author, Michael Joseph Gross, has admitted making a mistake in his piece.

Hermit, could you please tell us more?

Grasping at straws are we? He confused a baby with a similar looking baby, hardly enough to discredit a 8 page article.

I haven't read the article so I don't know how accurate it is. But there is one lie the writer [Michael Gross] should fess up to: "I started this with every good intention toward her [Palin]." That's a crock. It was a hit-piece from day one. Vanity Fair wouldn't have printed or paid for any article that made Palin look good, and the writer knew it.

Confused? Try ignored.

The mother of that child, conservative activist Gina Loudon, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that she told Gross during the rally that the child in the stroller was her son, not Palin's. She said she tried to make it clear because the two children look a lot alike.

"I told him that. And he ignored it," Loudon said. "It's not even like he didn't fact check - he just ignored facts."

Ya right, like he intentionally got it wrong so that 'conservative activist Gina Loudon' could pick on it later.

feminist/progressive blogger Melissa McEwan wrote:
Gross’ article, however, amounts to very little but “Sarah Palin is the worst because she’s in politics…and is A WOMAN.”

Sure, it’s covert sexism. Gross doesn’t talk about her boobs or use identifiable misogynist epithets to describe her, but it’s sexism nevertheless, as the (frequently dislikable) habits of many major politicians, of both parties, are used to build the case that Palin is remarkably awful. But there is nothing particularly remarkable about a politician who requires family members get permission to grant interviews. Nor about a politician who ambitiously trades favors and ruthlessly gets people fired who cross [him]. Nor about a politician who acts like an entitled a**.

What makes this article the worst thing I’ve read all day is the fact that most of what’s in it is the sort of s*** that is considered (rightly or wrongly) the mundane business of doing politics, and yet is somehow ZOMG SHOCKING when done by Sarah Palin. …

I will continue to defend Sarah Palin against misogynist smears not because I endorse her or her politics, but because that’s how feminism works.

But I’d prefer not to be obliged in the first place.

How about you name for us all the 'credible' sources the author used in his piece?
