One reason might be that you generally have to short one of names for a pairs trade, and often shorting leveraged or inverse ETF's is impossible or prohibitively expesive.

How is your Covestor account going? Also, I notice you are not on the leader board for the Robbins contest. How come?

Fixed it. It was the date. Changed laptop date to yesterday and it works...
 
This also applies to those using PairTradeFinder. When I opened PairTradeFinder today, it crashed. It seems it doesnt handle leap year (2012-02-29) very well. Hope they will release a fix on this.

I'm a World Cup Advisor. Having a model to follow apparently was all I was doing, but the incubation went well, and they went forward with promoting us.

My Covestor Account had it's best 30 day runup of 17% this month.
