Pain & Pleasure

Getting duffed up in the REAL world can be a nasty shock.

When the choice is off home to mum and dad or giving blow jobs I know which I would choose.

Plenty of engineering jobs out there. Sure it's only $60k but the locations are usually cheap. But I don't know if a finance type could handle engineering school. It's just a touch harder......

Take a look at Randi and tell me if you would pay her a tip to see her naked big boned pot bellied body. :D But then it turns out that it is not true and Randi is really just a failed actress going for a publicity stunt. It would make a great movie though to star a knock out as a former Wall Street banker 'forced' into the flesh trade after losing her finance gig because she cannot bear to give up the luxuries she has gotten used to. Do I hear any offers for the rights because I will hammer out the script if you really want me to.

Write it. Get some money and start filming.
I had a couple of gigs in film production.
It's all bs. Money is all that counts.
Filming and production has to be A+.
Distribution is real important. Have not worked
on anything in porn, so I couldn't say how that business works.
Be interesting though. I enjoyed the jobs
I was on tremendously.Good pay, and food was good. Alot of big egos and
a-holes, but had a good time with the other crew members.

I was eating at a restaurant in Austin a couple of months ago and the bartender was telling me he graduated with a business/finance degree at UT and couldn't get a job so his dad told him to go back to school and get his MBA. He said his friends back in LA had engineering degrees and living at home with their parents because they couldn't get a job.

That's funny, because just about everyone I studied with ended up gainfully employed. Is mechanical engineering just special? Are we just better at OSU? Do we come out with some special skillz?

I had a short contract last year in Gardena (heart of LA industrial district) and couldn't wait to get out. Maybe it's in the air?

I don't know it was just one guy I was talking to. I am watching OSU against Stanford and ready for them to stop Luck and come out with a big win.

Someone needs to tell these idiots at Jeffries there is no point threatening to leave if everyone knows that there is nowhere for them to go to. This is yet another sign of how bad things are on the Street. And yet despite overwhelming evidence that painful structural adjustments have only just begun, these self entitled overweening sons-of-bitches can be deluded enough to believe that they are in a position to call the shots when they really should be grateful just to have a job.

I just don't understand. How can these people not have saved some serious money?

The only way some of these people can continue doing what they do is if they medicate themselves with a high octane lifestyle. Sex, drugs, booze and lots of expensive toys. Plus, after tax and cost of living, you really do not have that much even though you may be pulling in half a million a year.
