P & F vs. Traditional TA

Sure this has been asked before, but....

I'm proficient in traditional technical analysis and been using for years. But, always looking for that extra edge.

Point and Figure. Is it worth the studying? I think my question is, is it complimentary to traditional tech analysis, or if you are a P&F master, do you pretty much only use that?

I'm not looking to change my system, I'm just looking for that extra something....

If you're talking about intraday trading, I don't think I have ever seen any trader on here (at least any real, consistently profitable trader) mention anything about using P & F.

Q: what timeframes are you using on your charts?
A: usually 5 - 30 min charts for trendlines and indicators. i prefer p&f charts because they give me a clearer view on patterns (triple tops).
