Own stocks?

I tend to invest in stocks for the long term, viewing them as a way to generate passive income. My approach involves a mix of following qualified investment tips and identifying companies with strong growth potential. For example, during the pandemic, I felt Etsy was well-positioned to thrive due to the rise in online shopping.

I like the affirming feeling that my business judgement was correct and don't feel bad about missing meme stocks.

For a day trader, are there any reasons to own stocks as opposed to options?

As a day-trader, there is no real "ownership", so the question about options is moot.

I cannot believe OMM fell for this.

Morse, shame!
