And what narrative would that be? Personal responsibility? Freud is bullshit, once people accept that they are responsible for their own life they are empowered.

"I dont want to be a product of my environment, I want my environment to be a product of me." This is one of the most profound statements i have ever heard, and when people live by these terms, there is no stopping them.
Once people realise this they have unlimited potential, democrats bestow hopelesness on people, if they ever change their tune to personal responsibility the world will be infinately better off.
