Overwhelmingly White Media Criticize Conservative Rallies as 'Overwhelmingly White'

Quote from Gabfly1:

No one can argue with that sentiment. The problem is that there remains a fairly sizable racist element. Wishing it weren't so doesn't make it go away. The less overt among them have fine-tuned their language and approach to maintain a veil of plausible deniability that is often accompanied by quick-draw righteous indignation when they are called out. However, it's their inevitable trail of bread crumbs that gives them away. It's all about the pattern rather than a singular point of reference. For example, however finessed some birthers may be, at this point in time, all who remain steadfast about their "concerns" are nothing more than fucking racists. Of course they don't want to talk about color. They want to address their "concerns" and the America they once knew. They want a "real" American at the helm who "sees America as they do." Despite all kinds of political posturing during past administrations, I don't recall ever having heard this kind of shit before. Rather coincidental, wouldn't you say?

Do you work for the AP? Same regurgitated "all white" racist birthers story.

When will the leftists loons figure out they are far more destructive to race relations the any "all white" tea party members.

How about some examples?

I'll start:

Quote from Ricter:

A root of racism, and xenophobia come to think of it, has got to be something like "the selfish gene" at work.

The "selfish gene" as you like to call it is the single reason why we got to where we are as a species. If man didnt strive to be better than the next man, there would be no such thing as innovation. It is mans continual stuggle to be the best (the selfish gene) which continues to provide innovation.

Let's not read too much into it:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ciFe8JmR-nY?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ciFe8JmR-nY?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

I think racism and xenophobia are more rooted in narcissism and megalomania, both of which stem from inner feelings of inadequacy ("unconscious deficits in self-esteem"). Thus the preoccupying need to be "better" than someone.

I was about to assume that the video would address, at least indirectly, social Darwinism, but decided to watch. I think it's not relevant because racism is between people who have, relatively speaking, quite different genes.

But no worries, we fall back on Ethics 101, which rightly tells us, "that which is, is not necessarily that which should be".

I don't think that the deficit is unconscious. Similarly, bullies know they are cowards.

Race will not be a determining factor come this November, or in 2012. Unemployment will have some impact as will the war and illegal immigration, but all of those things will not hold a candle to what's really going on out there, what's rarely addressed by any media, MSM or otherwise.
Working people are furious that not one, not one dirty S.O.B. has paid the price for bringing this financial crisis upon us. There's a reason that the issue is rarely addressed. It hit's all the political players across the board. Both Dem and Repub have dirt all over them. The media has dirt all over it as well. They not only knew of the impending doom, they facilitated it, all of them.
The people will vent their anger at the polls, but in the end it won't do much good. The system is gamed and it really doesn't matter who gets voted in or out. People will be appeased for awhile seeing a few of the old timers get the boot, but they'll soon realize the new boss is the same as the old boss. In the end it's always the same. The working class takes the brunt of the pain, the poor go on as usual, and the few at the top laugh all the way to the bank, waving the flag all the while.

Its easier for the left to call critics "racists" than it is to defend their polices. It really is that simple.

You would think they would be running on their fantastic record:

Health Care reform that will cover everyone and reduce the deficit

Ending the War in Iraq

Closing Gauntanamo

Keeping unemployment under 6%

Not raising taxes

Keeping Iran from going nuclear

etc.....

:D :D
