They've got more stories wrong than right, and surprisingly, their errors all tilt in one direction. What a coincidence. Not even close. There was/is genuine concern and tons of circumstantial evidence. Look at all people from his orbit who were arrested. And all evidence collected my Mueller about Russia interference in our election.

I never followed the man and I don't know what exactly he said. I have learned not to trust what the media claim someone said or did. Charlottesville is a good example of that.

I suspect his point was that the gun confiscation zealots would try to exploit a tragedy to score political points, which in fact, was exactly what they did.
